Welcome to my world of textile art! Mary Liston is my name, I am from the historic village of Adare in Ireland where I create unique pieces of art using wool and silk fibers, in a technique called needle felting. Wistful and atmospheric images of Ireland are captured when I manipulate the fibers with a barbed needle onto a wool backing.
The natural rugged beauty of the Irish landscape and coastline is a constant source of inspiration and each piece is an original.
