In this piece, I have used a variety of materials including, merino wool, silk fibers, yarn and Irish tweed. I have chosen shades of green and purple mainly to depict the famous heather covered hillsides in Ireland where sheep love to roam freely. I have used some felted yarn to create the stone wall for added dimension.
