Mystical Ireland 2

Part of my mini series titled “Mystical Ireland”. Needle felted image capturing the ruins of an ancient abbey in wool and silk fibers. The fibers are worked onto a wool backing with a barbed needle, an old craft revived. I have used an assortment of yarns to construct the abbey ruin in shades of black and grey. This is an original piece of textile art and comes double mounted ready for framing.
