This textile art piece is made with pieces of wool and Irish tweed, some of which have been felted and some is woven. I have built up the image by layering and stitching down each piece onto a fleece backing and then adding some yarn to give added definition to the hills. The sheep are composed of actual sheep’s wool which I have needle felted into the piece.
