Down at the shore

The Irish landscape is dotted with ancient ruins of towers, castles and abbeys. Sheep are plentyful also!! They can often be seen sheltering around the walls of these ruins which is what I have depicted here in this piece of textile art. It is needle felted, using actual wool from the sheep’s back, along with other fibers such as, silk and felted yarn. It comes double mounted, ready for framing to hang in your home or give as a gift.
