The sheep are happily grazing on a lazy day on the hillside in this image where memories of warm summer days in the countryside are evoked. One can almost hear the bees buzzing on the flowers and hedgerow around the cottage.
This is an original piece of textile art, made using an assortment of fabrics which include, dyed muslin, dyed cotton, wool, Irish tweed, organza and knitting yarn.
My favourite pastime is combining all these different elements to create a landscape of Ireland and I hope you like it!
