Anyone who has travelled around the coast of Ireland will know that in minutes the landscape can change. Typically this is due to a mist coming in from the sea which can make the mountains virtually disappear into a cloud.
I have tried, in this piece to capture that image using merino wool and dyed muslin, needle felted onto a soft wool backing.
The sheep in this image are constructed using actual wool from the Valais Blacknose breed.
